The League of Arab States released a statement on January 26, which said that the attempt to remove Palestinians from their territory through exile, territorial annexation and expansion of the Jewish settlements is doomed to failure and deserves criticism as a violation of international law.

The statement described the attempt as the “purge of a race”.

Peace and stability can be ensured in the Middle East only when the cause of Palestine is achieved and the “two states solution” is implemented, it stressed.
