More than 60 young men and women in North Hwanghae Province volunteered to work at major fronts of socialist construction.

Those in Pongsan, Phyongsan and Thosan counties decided to work at the regional and rural construction sites.

Young people of Sinphyong and Unpha counties also volunteered as builders at the county construction brigades.

Young men and women in Sariwon City and Hwangju County applied for jobs at raw materials base stations with the determination to shape their better future in their native places by their own efforts.

Those in Yonsan, Singye and Koksan counties followed suit, full of a resolve to take the lead in implementing the policy on regional-industry development and rural revolution programme in the new era of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

A meeting took place at the North Hwanghae Provincial Art Theatre to congratulate the volunteers. Present there were Ri Il Hyok, secretary of the provincial committee of the WPK, youth league officials and youth and students.

Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speeches were made there.
