The Sangwon Cement Complex produces hundreds of tons of more cement every day than the same period of last year.

The central control room of the complex carefully controls the whole course of production, ranging from raw materials feeding to calcination and crushing of cement, on a scientific basis in close cooperation with field workers.

The calcination workshop in charge of the main process of production increased the production capacity of clinker by 5 percent as compared to the same period of last year by actively conducting sci-tech activities to increase the capacity of kiln and its serviceable life, effectively conducting inspections during break and cyclic checks and promoting cooperation among shifts.

The cement workshop produces more quality cement as it mixes clinker, clay slate and other substances on a scientific basis while rationally setting up a production system enhancing the operational rate of equipment including roller mill.

After securing hundreds of thousands of tons of ore reserves by applying a highly efficient blasting method, the Sangwon Limestone Mine has sent extracted ores to the next process without delay.

The Samchong Mine, Hwachon Coal Mine and others are registering good results while conducting a socialist emulation drive for producing and supplying larger quantities of raw materials and fuel.
