Zeal for volunteering for fronts to implement Party decisions grows among young people in Kangwon Province
January 20, 2025Over 50 young men and women in Kangwon Province decided to work at labour-consuming and difficult posts as desired by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Those in Kimhwa, Phyonggang, Thongchon and other counties volunteered to work at raw materials bases, and those in the city of Wonsan and Sepho, Anbyon and other counties volunteered for construction brigades.
Those in Changdo, Phangyo, Kumgang and other counties made up their mind to work at ridgeway and road platoons.
At a meeting attended by Kim Song Chol, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, Kim Kwang Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, youth league officials, youth and students, certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers followed by congratulatory and other speeches.
The meeting was followed by a significant meeting with young people performing labour feats in grand construction projects.
Officials and young people gave the volunteers warm send-offs, presenting bouquets to them.
