The DPRK people deem it their natural duty, honour and pride to devote themselves to the work for their country.

Patriotism of the Korean people, who value state affairs more than family affairs and give priority to the civic duty of devotion over the right of enjoyment, makes the whole country seethe with the spirit of fresh innovation, bold creation and steady advance. The all-people patriotic fervour to create anything not as a copy-based one, but as an innovation-driven one to be wonderful and perfect even after 50 or 100 years, has given impetus to the building of a prosperous and powerful country in the DPRK.
