Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of Iran’s Islamic revolution, called for coping with the US’ hostile propaganda offensive in an event on January 8.

The US suffered great political and economic losses in Iran as a result of Iran’s Islamic revolution, he said, disclosing that the US has clung to persistent propaganda offensive while posing military threats and imposing economic sanctions in a bid to eradicate the revolution with deep-seated grudge for over 40 years.

He stressed the need to enhance the role of mass media and cultural institutions lest the Iranian people should lend an ear to the vicious propaganda by hostile forces and have an illusion about the “mightiness” of the enemy.
