Iranian armed forces stage large-scale anti-aircraft drill
January 11, 2025The Iranian armed forces launched into a large-scale anti-aircraft drill in Isfahan Province on January 7.
As the first stage of the drill, aerospace units of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps waged an exercise of defending nuclear facilities from various aerial threats under the circumstances of electronic warfare.
Earlier on January 6, a spokesman for the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said that the exercise is staged with an aim of improving combat readiness and coping with potential military threats and sabotage.
Foreign media outlets reported that the recent drill is being staged in reaction to the suggestion of possible US attack of the Iranian nuclear facilities by the White House national security advisor.
