Heads of state deliver New Year addresses
January 10, 2025Heads of state of different countries made New Year addresses to mark the New Year 2025.
Saying that they will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War this year, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko stated that it is an honourable task for the descendants of victors to defend peace handed down by forerunners as heritage.
Belarus will develop in a more cultured way and advance confidently toward its goal and ideal, he stressed.
The Venezuelan President hoped that all people would continue to advance along the road of reconciliation and hope, expressing his belief that 2025 will be a year of miracles.
The Egyptian President expressed the belief that 2025 would be a nice year of prosperity and advance, affirming that his people would keep building the future filled with peace and stability by displaying the spirit of cooperation and unity for human welfare.
The Thai King said that when his people are united and discharge their mission, they will live happily by overcoming all obstacles, and called on civil servants to make positive efforts for the country’s prosperity, stability and people’s well-being.
Asserting that economic growth and job creation arise as an urgent task, the South African President called on all the people to further strive to overcome all challenges facing the country so as to make 2025 a year of great hope.
