Events took place at the General Association of Koreans in China to celebrate the New Year 2025.

Officials of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Women's Association of Koreans in China and the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, the family of the chairman of the Jilin regional association and others laid baskets of flowers before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin and paid tribute to him on December 31 2024.

Flower baskets were laid on January 1 2025 at the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and artworks showing their images at the DPRK embassy in Beijing and DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and the Zhongnan Regional Association and the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China.

A meeting took place at the conference room of the General Association of Koreans in China to adopt a congratulatory letter to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Present there were Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and other officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China and members of the Shenyang City Branch of its Liaoning Regional Association.

A congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting amid enthusiastic applause of the participants.

And the participants had a study session on the “Report on the Enlarged Meeting of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea”.
