Huge blasts were carried out in succession on January 4 to attain the fighting goals for this significant year at Kakhoedo tideland under reclamation where everyone is striving to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The 150 000- and 100 000-cubic-metre blasts were successfully conducted, thereby opening up good prospects for pushing forward with the Kakhoedo tideland embankment project at a lightning tempo.

The reclaimers of the tideland, who took the first vigorous step of the new year, are pressing on with the patriotic undertaking to broaden the territory of the country with the single mind to glorify 2025 as a year of eye-opening events and a year of great turn to bring about an upward trend towards a higher development stage.
