Workers of the Kujang Cement Factory, who have turned out in an increased production movement and campaign to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, carried out a 100 000-cubic-metre blasting on January 4.

The successful blasting has provided a foundation for producing and supplying enough cement for the economic development of South Phyongan Province and the improvement of its people’s living standards.

After making a breakthrough for increased production with the 100 000-cubic-metre blasting at the beginning of the advance of the new year, the workers of the factory are further kindling the flames of collective innovation with high enthusiasm to attain without fail the cement production goals set forth by the Party.
