D. Medvedev, chairman of the United Russia Party, sent a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on December 25.

In the message, he extended sincere congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the new year and said that the year 2024 was a significant one when mutual cooperation between Russia and the DPRK was put on a new high stage of comprehensive strategic partnership.

He went on to say that cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang has been continuously intensified in very comprehensive issues of mutual concern despite the complicated international situation.

He expressed belief that productive cooperation between the United Russia Party and the WPK will continue to contribute to strengthening the long-standing friendship between the two countries in the future.

He wished the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the citizens of the DPRK well-being and prosperity.
