The South Hamgyong Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science and the Hamhung Vegetable Sub-Institute were successfully renovated.
They have all conditions necessary for scientific research, including a general analysis room, research room and laboratory.
The renovation of these research bases provided a guarantee for fully solving urgent problems arising in farming while putting the agricultural production in the province on a scientific, IT and intensive basis.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were Kim Yong Hak, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and employees of the institute. A speech was made there.
