An experimental station of the Animal Husbandry Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science and a black swan branch of the Tonghan Livestock Farm under the provincial rural economy committee have newly been built in North Hwanghae Province.
Built in areas favourable for livestock farming, the experimental station and the black swan branch have conditions and facilities for conducting scientific research into raising the scientific level of animal husbandry and increasing poultry production.
They will be helpful to the development of livestock farming and the improvement of the people's diet.
Officials of the province, including Mun Chang Il and Kim Sok Jun, secretaries of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, went round the experimental station and the black swan branch.
