A fairyland village showing off the socialist rural civilization has appeared at the township farm in Kumya County, South Hamgyong Province.
Present at a ceremony for moving into new houses held on the spot were Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in Kumya County, builders and agricultural workers.
Ri Kwang Hyok, vice-chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address.
The licences for the use of houses were handed over and speeches made at the ceremony.
Then, the agricultural workers moved into new houses amid the playing of lively peasant music and cheerful dance.
Officials of the Party and power organs visited the owners of the new houses to share joy with them.
