An inauguration ceremony of the Chongjin Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory took place on December 19.

Present at the ceremony were Han Yong Song, secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, working people and builders in the city of Chongjin, and employees of the factory.

Pak Kyong Su, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inauguration speech. Then, others spoke at the ceremony.
