Russia exposes terrorist manoeuvres of West
December 16, 2024Alexander Bortnikov, chief of the Russian Federal Security Service and chairman of the National Anti-terrorism Committee, disclosed the West’s moves to foster terrorism in a meeting of the National Anti-terrorism Committee on December 10.
Referring to a drastic boost in the number of terrorist acts threatening Russia’s security, he attributed it first to the unprecedented arms supply to the Ukrainian authorities by the Western group.
Western special agencies are plotting to artificially create hotbeds of tension in the Russian territory centring on the regions of deep national and religious tone and such acts are aimed at sparking serious disputes and leading them to collective disorder and terrorist acts, he asserted.
With the backing of Western special agencies, the Ukrainian authorities have launched an aggressive anti-Russian propaganda campaign without hesitating to resort to deception, threat and blackmail and are actively recruiting saboteurs and terrorists, he denounced.
