Impeachment motion against Yoon Suk Yeol approved in puppet ROK
December 16, 2024The impeachment motion against the puppet Yoon Suk Yeol was approved in the puppet ROK on December 14.
That day, the parliament took a vote on the impeachment motion against Yoon, which was presented for the second time by members from opposition parties, and passed it with 204 in favour and 85 against.
On December 7, there was a vote on the impeachment motion against Yoon, but it was scrapped as lawmakers from the "People Power Party" boycotted the vote in a group.
More than one million people, enraged at the news that the impeachment motion was not approved at that time, thronged the puppet parliament building and presidential office and demanded the immediate impeachment and arrest of the puppet Yoon Suk Yeol and lawmakers from the "People Power Party" who opposed the impeachment.
Yoon Suk Yeol, upset by this, released a press statement full of lies and obstinacy on December 12, but it sparked off stronger rebuff and resentment of the political and public circles as the puppet shifted the responsibility for foolish emergency martial law declaration onto the opposition parties and the "threat" from someone and insulted the struggle of the broad masses for impeachment as a "wild sword dance".
Amid the growing denunciation and enthusiasm for impeachment of the puppet Yoon Suk Yeol and his accomplices who totally denied the crimes they committed in their office in Seoul and other parts of the ROK, many members of the "People Power Party" withdrew from it, disillusioned with their party's despicable behaviour, aggravating the division within the ruling party.
As a result, the impeachment motion was passed by vote on December 14 to suspend the puppet president Yoon Suk Yeol.
The puppet Constitutional Court will finally decide the impeachment.
As the news about the passage of the impeachment motion against the puppet was reported, citizens in Seoul, Pusan, Taejon and other major cities and areas across the ROK turned out in streets, raising cheers.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the minister of Defense, the director of the Police Agency and the director of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency were detained and then, the army chief of staff who was appointed as the martial law commander, the army counter-intelligence commander, the commander of special warfare, the intelligence commander and others of the puppet ROK were suspended from their duties, the army metropolitan garrison commander was arrested, and the investigation into Yoon Suk Yeol, the ringleader of rebellion, and his accomplices is under way.
