DPRK players won four silver and one bronze medals at the 2024 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships on December 11.

Jong Chun Hui came second in jerk and total and third in snatch in the women's 71kg category and Ro Kwang Ryol took the second place in jerk and total in the men's 89kg category.
