A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a press conference on December 3 that his country strongly protested against another round of US sanctions on Chinese enterprises and its hindrance of sci-tech development of his country.

China is resolutely opposed to the US moves to impose unlawful and unilateral sanctions on Chinese enterprises while broadly interpreting the “concept of national security” and abusing the export control measure, he noted.

That day, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce issued an official notice to declare that it would tighten control on export of military and civilian materials to the US.
