Officials in revolutionary relics preservation field tour battle sites in Mt Paektu

Officials in the field of preservation of revolutionary relics from across the DPRK made a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu from November 28 to December 4.

They looked around the Chongbong Bivouac where a statue of President Kim Il Sung stands, Konchang Bivouac and other places. And then they visited the birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp, the sacred place of the revolution.

In front of the old home of the Chairman, they recalled his revolutionary career and immortal exploits.

They climbed Mt Paektu, bearing in mind the noble intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who made a historic horseback march.

 Then they visited the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum and toured the Mupho Bivouac, the Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Site and other places.

During the march, they had a meeting to give impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas, a campfire meeting, a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus and a poem recitation meeting.

They held an oath-taking meeting at the plaza before the statue of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the City of Samjiyon on December 4.

The participants expressed their determination to fulfil their mission and duty as the first personifier, powerful propagator and educator of the revolutionary traditions in launching an intensive nationwide drive of education in the revolutionary traditions, true to the ideology and leadership of Kim Jong Un.

During the study tour, they visited the Samjiyon Potato Farina Factory, the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory and the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace.
