Attack on Russia cannot escape counterattack

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that attack with West-made weapons on the Russian territory will be unable to escape counterattack in a summit conference of member states of the collective security treaty organization on November 28.

Russia is producing missiles ten times as many as those possessed by all the NATO member states and it has missiles of longer ranges and greater power than the West-made ones provided for Ukraine, he asserted.

Mentioning about the Russian army’s recent attack on Ukraine with new-type intermediate-range ballistic missile Oreshnik, he emphasized that it was a counteraction to the enemies’ attacks with West-made ones on Bryansk and Kursk and that if this missile is used in a concentrated way, the power will be similar to that of nuclear weapons.

Saying that the General Staff of the Russian armed forces and the Ministry of Defence are selecting targets of the Oreshnik missiles in the Ukrainian territory, the President warned that military objects and munitions enterprises and the decision-making centres in Kiev can be such targets.

The current Ukrainian authorities assume totally illegal characters, he said, adding that as they are usurpers of power, they have no right to give orders to the army and those who execute such orders are accomplices after all.
