Russian military delegation leaves Pyongyang
December 2, 2024The Russian military delegation led by Minister of Defence Andrei Beloussov left Pyongyang on November 30 after visiting the DPRK at the invitation of its Ministry of National Defence.
The flags of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation were fluttering at the flagstaffs at Pyongyang International Airport, and the guard of honour of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.
Present there to see off the delegation were No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Jong Kyong Thaek, director of the KPA General Political Bureau, and other commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence, officials concerned and KPA service personnel, Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
There was a ceremony of sending off the Russian military delegation.
The national anthems of the DPRK and the Russian Federation were played.
Conducted by No Kwang Chol, Andrei Beloussov reviewed the KPA guard of honour.
The plane carrying the Russian delegation took off amid the warm send-off by KPA service personnel.
