Chonju Falls in Puyon-ri is located in a deep valley 14km away from Puyon-ri, Sinhung County, South Hamgyong Province.

The falls flow along the cliff consisting of two steps of granite.

They first cascade along the cliff with an incline of 80 degrees and then along the one with a gradient of 70 degrees.

The waterfall is 60 metres high, two metres wide in the dry season and ten metres in the rainy season.
