The Wonhwa Farm in Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province, has harvested bumper crops this year, too, as it did last year.

Each workteam and sub-workteam of the farm increased the per-hectare yield of maize and wheat by over one ton on an average more than last year and raised the per-hectare yield of rice, thus carrying out the national grain production plan at 131.3 percent.

On November 15, the farm held a meeting for year-end account settlement and income distribution.

Present there were Ri Kyong Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Yong Song, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, officials concerned and agricultural workers. Han Song I, manager of the farm, made a report.

The meeting courteously presented to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il their shares of this year.

After the distribution of cash to the farmers, the production rankings of workteams and sub-workteams were announced and speeches made.

Agricultural workers danced to the tune of cheerful peasant music, revving up the atmosphere of the venue.
