A session of the Permanent Commission of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK took place.

The meeting discussed the issues of the adoption of the Law of the DPRK on Electronic Commerce and the amendment and supplementing of the laws on funeral and electric power, and adopted relevant decrees.

The law on e-commerce is aimed at putting commerce on an IT and scientific basis by setting up a system and order in the establishment and use of the e-commerce system and contributing to ensuring the promptness, accuracy and convenience in the services for the people.

In the funeral law, principles of organization of funerals, including state and public funerals, and rules of conduct in them have further been subdivided and contents of general funeral have newly been added to the law.

Such issues as the construction, use and operation of power facilities, the permission to use power systems and fixing of electricity prices according to the use, season and time of load were amended in and supplemented to the electric power law.
