Russian President insists on fair international relations
November 11, 2024Russian President Vladimir Putin clarified the stand of his country that it insists on establishing a system of fair international relations in the ceremony of presenting credentials of foreign ambassadors on November 5.
Saying that only those who are unaware of Russia’s history and power of unity might have a wild dream of defeating it, he added that it is grossly wrong for some Western countries to pursue a hostile line of expanding and prolonging the Ukrainian conflict with a view to inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
Russia is open for mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries on the principle of equality, non-intervention and respect for international law, and insists on establishing a system of fair international relations irrelevant to unilateral illegal sanctions and politically motivated restrictive measures, he stated.
He emphasized that Russia does not want confrontation but is adhering to a constructive line considering its own interests and international trend in its external policy.
