November 7, 2024

The Ministry of Defence of Russia released on October 29 a video showing the launches of different intercontinental ballistic missiles including Bulava during the drill of strategic deterrence forces.

The firing was carried out at the Okhotsk and Barents seas and the Plesetsk space port.

President Vladimir Putin said the Russian Federation remains faithful to the stand that the use of nuclear weapons is the last emergency measure for ensuring the security of the state, while inspecting the drill of strategic deterrence forces by way of video-conferencing.

He said it is important to have a strategic force which maintains a modern and constant combat ready posture, considering that geopolitical tension is increasing and new external threats and challenges keep arising.

Russia will continue to perfect all the components of its nuclear force and maintain it at the necessary level, he stressed.
