General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s Revolutionary Activities

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, expressed deep gratitude to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for sending warm congratulations on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the WPK.

Availing himself of that opportunity, the DPRK leader expressed his conviction that the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries would further be strengthened and developed, and extended invariable support and solidarity to the just struggle of the Syrian people for defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
