A pine tree stands at a place about 1km away from the seat of Kumgu-ri of Poptong County, Kangwon Province.

It was planted in about 1550.

It is 18 metres tall, 4.6 metres round at the root neck, 3.9 metres round at the chest height and 20 metres wide at the crown.

The old tree adds much to scenery for the good appearance and curious features and is of academic significance as well.
