DPRK footballers proceed to quarter-finals of 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup
October 26, 2024The 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup is going on in Dominica.
It has brought together the teams from 16 countries and regions, including the DPRK, Spain, Brazil and Nigeria.
The DPRK team belonging to Group C beat the Mexicans 4-1 on October 17 local time and the Kenyans 3-0 on the 20th, and competed with the British on the 23rd.
The Korean women beat them 4-0.
They thus got nine points in total and took the first place in the group to be qualified for the quarter-finals.
The quarter-final between the DPRK and Polish teams is to be held on October 26 (October 27 in Pyongyang time).
