A well-regulated study system embracing all the people has been established in the DPRK.

Working people are enrolled in the study-while-you-work system, including factory, farm and fishermen’s colleges, and acquire professional knowledge.

E-libraries and sci-tech learning spaces are provided at workplaces where they pursue technical study in the distance education mode. The sci-tech dissemination system and tele-education network are established across the country with the Sci-Tech Complex in the capital city of Pyongyang as the centre.

In the DPRK, there is the Grand People’s Study House, which was built excellently as a base for disseminating scientific, technological and cultural knowledge and a temple for all-people learning.
