The Kazakh president asserted that the West cannot defeat Russia as he addressed the recent plenary meeting of think-tank forum in Astana.

Referring to the fact that Russia is invincible in the military aspect, he said that it has been proved by the military potentials of Russia, Russian citizens’ support for the policy of President Vladimir Putin and the history of Russia. 

Therefore, it is essential to seek a peaceful mediation plan for the Ukrainian situation, he noted, adding that if not, catastrophic results would be produced and some forces of the world might want it.
