The Russian deputy permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe exposed the hypocritical behaviour of Western countries against the Ukrainians at a meeting of the standing council of the organization on October 17.

Western countries are restricting the stay of the Ukrainians in their territories and taking measures to send them back to the “slaughterhouse”, the area under control of the Kiev authorities, by going back on their promise that they would help them as much as they need, he disclosed.

This clearly shows that their advocacy of “common values” is nothing more than hypocrisy and the European Union does not regard the Ukrainians as its “own people”, he asserted, adding the West is using Ukraine and its people as a tool for confrontation with Russia.
