Men's and women's football matches of DPRK Championships finish
October 16, 2024Men's and women's football tournaments of the DPRK Championships came to an end.
Twelve men's and women's teams each took part in the tournament which started on September 6. The team standings were decided by league matches.
In the men's football tournament, the Ryomyong Team came first and Amnokgang and April 25 teams second and third.
In the women's event, the Naegohyang Team was placed first, with April 25 and Rimyongsu teams coming second and third.
An awards ceremony took place at
Sin Yong Chol, general secretary of the DPRK Football Association, conferred trophies, medals and other prizes on the successful men's and women's football teams and players.
