Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and schoolchildren laid baskets of flowers at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in all parts of the country on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Flower baskets were placed at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in the name of Party, government and armed forces organs, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces, and institutions and enterprises at all levels and universities in Pyongyang.
Visitors made a bow at the statues of the peerlessly great men as they recollected with deep emotion their sacred Party building exploits.
Floral tribute was also paid at their statues in other places of the capital, including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio, in the name of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF, and others.
Officials, working people, service personnel and youth and schoolchildren in all other parts of the country also paid respect to the great leaders at their statues in local areas.
