Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov criticized the US intervention in an attack against Lebanon in an article published on October 4.

Israel recently launched a ground invasion of Lebanon, but the US made no accusation against the act of aggression against the sovereign state, he said, asserting that in this way the US is inciting Israel to expand its zone of military action.

The inhuman anti-Lebanon attack committed by switching the civilian technology into a lethal weapon is another “excellent” example of the use of terrorist method as a means of serving their political purpose, he noted, pointing to the need to immediately investigate such an act of crime.

The terrorist act has become unable to be passed over, given that the mass media of Europe and the US published lots of articles proving that Washington intervened in such a crime in this or that way or at least knew well about the preparation for it, he stressed.
