Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov ridiculed the US and the West in his speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on September 28.

Asserting that security should be equal and inseparable to everyone, he said that Russia has been directing constant efforts to make this simple truth known to the United States, Britain and the European Union infatuated with self-glorification.

The US and Britain still expect they could defeat Russia with the help of the illegal neo-Nazi authorities of Ukraine and, on the other hand, they are making preparations for drawing Europe into suicidal adventure, he disclosed.

The plan to defeat such a nuclear power as Russia is pointless and dangerous and the repeated argument of the Western masters of Ukraine that there is no alternative but to hold talks according to any "peace formula" is still more meaningless.
