The Iranian Foreign Ministry on September 3 called the British charge d’ affaires in the country to denounce the reckless sanctions of the UK.

The UK recently announced it would impose sanctions on three Iranians and a unit of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps on suspicion of supporting the moves to cause instability to the UK, Israel and other countries.

In regard to this, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated it is an act against the policy of engagement and cooperation advocated by the new British government.

In actuality, the UK is supporting Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu, engrossed in anti-Palestinian actions, thereby causing regional instability, it asserted.
