Farmers move into new houses at Thonghung Farm
September 10, 2024Farmers in remote mountain village of the Thonghung Farm in Hochon County, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK moved into new houses.
Hundreds of modern houses, designed to preserve the regional features, have been built in a fine landscape as the residents' homes of happiness, where they can live a highly civilized life.
Present at the ceremony for moving into new houses were Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Hochon County.
Ri Kwang Hyok, vice-chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech. Then licences for using the houses were handed over and speeches made.
The village was overflowing with joy and emotion. Officials visited new houses to share joy with their owners.
