Hundreds of modern low- and single-storied and terraced dwelling houses have been built at the Ryongsin Farm in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province.

Present at the ceremony for moving into new houses were Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers of Hungdok District. Hwang Myong Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory address at the ceremony.

Licences for using the houses were handed over amid the loud applause of the participants.

When the farmers began to move into their new houses, there was a pleasant dance party. Officials visited the new houses to share joy with their owners.
