Shortly ago, the Japanese citizens held a rally in Tokyo to protest against the authorities’ moves for discharging the nuclear contaminated water into the sea. 

Many people took part in the rally held on the occasion of the first anniversary of the first dumping of the water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the sea. 

The participants demanded that the authorities discontinue the discharge that pollutes the sea, holding placards including the one reading, “Stop dumping contaminated water into the sea.” 

They said that the fishermen in Fukushima are living in uneasiness pressed by the authorities’ coercive declaration that the contaminated water is safe.
