World’s first nuclear criminal and purpose of bombings
August 6, 2024The first nuclear criminal
August 6 1945 was recorded in the history as the day when humankind suffered the nuclear holocaust for the first time on earth. That day, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Three days later, on August 9, it dropped another one on Nagasaki.
The two atomic bombs reduced the two Japanese cities to ashes in a moment and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
According to data available, about 0.7 million residents in the cities fell victim to the atomic bombs at that time.
The mental and physical pains caused to humans by the atomic bombs were unimaginably immense.
In about four months after the bombings, most of people affected by radiation died of different symptoms like diarrhoea, vomiting, lack of appetite, headache, loss of hair, feebleness, bleeding and fever. Even survivors were compelled to suffer from different kinds of diseases due to the aftereffects. About 60 percent of the dead died owing to thermic rays and the remaining 40 percent due to radioactive rays.
Purpose of dropping of atomic bombs
The US trumpets that its atomic bombs made Japan surrender and “contributed” to bringing World War II to an end. It is a preposterous sophism.
Later, MacArthur admitted that the use of atomic bombs was completely unnecessary from a military point of view and another American brass hat testified that the atomic bombs had no relation to the conclusion of the war.
Then, what was the real purpose of atomic bomb droppings?
The US didn’t want Japan to completely perish.
It was very fearful of the rapid growth and development of anti-imperialist national liberation forces in Korea, China and other Asian countries, particularly the communist forces, and thought of using Japan in strangling them in the future. For that reason, it carried out bombing attacks mainly on residential areas on the Japanese mainland, avoiding military objects as much as possible, so as to preserve Japan’s military and economic potentials.
And it didn’t bomb even one military target of the Japanese imperialists in Northeast China in order to turn Japan’s spearhead of aggression to the Soviet Union when it entered the war against Japan.
As a result, Japan could preserve its war potentials and insisted on the war of aggression to the last in disregard of the demand of the Potsdam Declaration. Actually, it still had 1.5 million-strong forces of 49 divisions and 27 brigades in Manchuria, Korea, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands alone before the Soviet Union entered the war against Japan.
Although the US knew well that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not of military strategic significance, it chose them as targets to inflict heavy losses of life as they were comparatively populous.
After all, the purpose of the bombings was to keep the Soviet army from advancing to the Japanese mainland and mislead the public to believe that the US played a “decisive” role in the war against Japan and thus raise its voice in settling the post-war matters and gain the upper hand.
As seen above, the US dropped the first atomic bomb in Hiroshima to show off its “matchless strength” and still clings to the power policy persistently.
In order to realize its ambition for domination, the US does not hesitate to use nuclear weapons and kill hundreds of thousands of people.
History and reality show that other countries should have the strength great enough to overpower the US in order to fight against its power policy.
