The Russian ambassador to the United States on July 29 denounced the US for its reckless decision on providing Ukraine with military aid again.

He said that the US keeps spending huge amounts of money in the Ukrainian conflict, though its national debt has exceeded $35 trillion for the first time, asking it if the funds provided as military aid were expended for solving lots of knotty socio-economic problems at home, it would have brought huge profits to it. 

Disclosing that the US leadership does not take such matters into account, he asserted that the delivery of US-made weapons to Ukraine cannot change the situation of battlefields, but will prolong the conflict and increase the deaths of peaceful inhabitants only.
