Japan runs wild with joint military drills with NATO member states

July 23, 2024

Japan is running amok with reckless joint military exercises by bringing in NATO member states.

Its Air Self-Defence Force stirred up war fever as it staged a joint drill with the French air force in a base in Ibaragi Prefecture for two days until July 20.

The drill involved the members of the Air SDF and about 220 French service personnel, and fighters, refuelling tankers, troop carriers, etc.

And on July 19, a joint military exercise was started by Japan, Spain and Germany in the Chitose base in Hokkaido.

That day, a total of 19 warplanes like fighters and troop carriers reportedly flew into Japan from Spain and Germany for the war game.

The joint war drills by Japan and NATO member states are making neighbouring countries very wary as their rackets exacerbate the situation in the Asia-Pacific region.
