A new look of civilization and enlightenment has been created at the Pumin Farm in Hamhung City this year, too.

Hundreds of single- and low-storey and terraced houses were built in harmony with the surrounding environment to arouse unique emotions of the modern villages.

Present at the ceremony for moving into new houses were Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and agricultural workers in Tonghungsan District, Hamhung.

Licences for the use of the houses were conveyed amid the warm applause of participants and speeches were made.

After the ceremony, a congratulatory performance was given and cheerful dances were held in the villages. Officials shared joy with the agricultural workers moving into new houses.
