Korean-style socialism is people-centred socialism, and the people’s laughter is a symbol of the socialist system and a criterion for determining the position of a nation as a powerful socialist country.

The people’s bright and cheerful laughter is, in essence, an expression of the feeling of fun they have as they lead a healthy, bountiful, civilized and harmonious life free from worries and illnesses.

The people’s laughter is ringing out everywhere in the DPRK which has ushered in a new era of comprehensive national development.

The state built such new residential quarters as Ryomyong, Mirae Scientists, Hwasong and Jonwi streets and Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District with modern dwelling houses with huge investments and provided them to ordinary working people free of charge.

Modern rural dwelling houses are now springing up in farm villages across the country according to the policy of rural development.

Important meetings of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state fixed it as the most important policy to provide students with new uniforms and other school things and supply all the children of the country with dairy products and nutritious foods on a regular basis. Therefore, cheerful laughter of younger generations resounds all across the country.

In addition, the people's pleasant and happy looks that can be seen at scenic spots and modern bases for cultural and leisure activities bring into relief the original features and image of the socialist system where they enjoy a happy life as masters of the state and society.

The Korean people and children smile so brightly with dignity and pride in their powerful country, free from the calamities and misfortunes of war, despite hostile forces' constant military challenge as they have powerful self-defensive military capabilities, the invincible and absolute force firmly defending the destiny and security of their country and themselves.

Their laughter is filled with confidence in a rosier future as they experience the thrills of actual life in their ever-prosperous country where their dreams and ideals come true with the creation of transformative entities.

All happiness and smiles have been brought to the people thanks to the people-first politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

For the respected General Secretary, the people are the most sacred and almighty being and the whole of the world.

It is his view that the people are precisely the state and the revolution and that the Party, socialism, enormous military strength and developed economy are necessary for the promotion of the people's well-being.

The people's happy laughter reverberates through this land endlessly thanks to the tireless thinking and devoted efforts for the good of the people of the General Secretary who draws up a grand blueprint for the building of a thriving country with this cherished view.
