New houses have been built in remote mountain villages of Kowon County.

Present at a meeting for moving into new houses held on the spot were Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Kowon County.

Kim Se Il, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, delivered a congratulatory speech and licences for the use of the houses were conveyed.

After the meeting, a pleasant dance party was held and officials shared joy with the families of farmers who received the new houses.

The wedding ceremonies of young men and women held in the Tachon Farm added more to the festive mood.
