Russia decries US’ missile deployment plan
July 15, 2024Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryavkov denounced the US plan for deploying missiles in Germany in an international meeting on July 11.
The US recently announced that it would deploy longer range missiles in Germany from 2026, claiming that it is aimed at coping with the “growing threat” from Russia.
In connection with this, he said that such a missile deployment plan is a link in the US’ line of expanding war of aggression and is designed to undermine the security of Russia.
Russia will take countermeasures against the US missile deployment, he noted.
