Seminars, lectures, round-table talks and other memorial events took place in Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Cambodia and Algeria from June 29 to July 4 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Speeches were made at the events attended by political and social figures and masses of those countries.

The chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that President Kim Il Sung was an outstanding leader, the pioneer of the era of independence and a model of genuine international communists who is still remembered not only by the DPRK people but also by the world’s progressives.

The secretary general of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia, the chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting and Studying the Juche Idea and the chairman of the Algeria-Korea Friendship Association called the President a peerless patriot who devoted his all to the country and the people all his life and the greatest man revered by everyone.

The chief of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Kyrgyzstan said that the DPRK will continue to win victory after victory as it is led by Comrade Kim Jong Un, an iron-willed brilliant commander with boundless devotion to the country and the people, matchless pluck and courage and indomitable will.

Personages of the Centre for the Study of Juche, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea-Songun Idea and the Academy of Sciences in Mongolia watched a film documenting Kim Il Sung's historic visit to Mongolia, saying that he performed precious exploits for the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, a memorial meeting and a lecture meeting were held by the Korean Friendship Association and the Communist Party of Soviet Union on June 22 and July 3 on the same occasion.
